Sufferin' succotash!

[ #6313 ]

So I'm finally installing RT. Fortunately, modern RT2 uses HTML::Mason. Good design decision. Unfortunately, HTML::Mason has deprecated and removed the HTML::Mason::Parser class, which RT uses. And, of course, older versions of HTML::Mason are off hidden somewhere. (And probably I shouldn't be using them anyway.)

So, I've got frustration. But at least I'll soon have a working RT setup.

  • Actually, using older Mason's (particularly 1.05) will remain supported for a while. With 1.10, we broke lots of backwards compatibility so we expect it to be a while before everyone upgrades.

That said, I know Jesse has modified RT for the next version so that it works with _either_ older or newer Mason versions.
    • Thanks. I figured it would all work together again, in time.
