More interesting items
In my previous comments about things that might be interesting to geeks, I left out something important: Sarah is majoring in linguistics.
Update: actually I had all these things in mind, but forgot them when I was writing the original entry. Another very interesting thing is that Sarah did not want a diamond engagement ring. Remember this slashdot story, which was one of the most active of all time? Sarah was well aware that diamond rings were a manufactured tradition, and she didn't want that. So she has a ruby engagement ring.
