This intrigues me. Anyone with firsthand knowledge care to tell me more?

  • Not quite first hand knowledge, but it's indeed a strange and true story. Last time the French News Agency mentionned this guy was in 1999, when he was given a resident permit but instead changed his mind and decided to stay at the airport. Personnally I don't know how he puts up with the food there. Since I'm leaving from that very airport for OSCON in a few days, I'm thinking maybe I ought to check him out!
    • By all means, please do and share anything you learn. Just be polite to the guy ... he may be slightly out of his head, but he is still a human being. I think the articles stated he is in Terminal 1.

      • The newswire story also hinted at the fact that he is a bit, er, confused.
Unfortunately I won't see him as I'm leaving for Terminal 2C which is quite a ways off from Terminal 1 in this huge airport.
