I'm at the Libre Software Conference in Bordeaux, France this week.
I have been fairly impressed with the range of people here, and the organization and all that, but with mounting horror as my talk looms I have realized that there don't seem to be any projectors anywhere. At least, not the the useful kind. They *do* have the kind that you can use transparancies with, but not the pluggy-into-the-backy of the laptop kind.
My biggest worry coming to the conference was would I lose my vga-dongle for the iBook. As it turns out that should have been the least of my worries.

Which is a pity, because a stop over in Paris would definitly be an enjoyable affair.
