Fired off a couple of proposals to YAPC::Europe yesterday - I'm glad thats out of the way. I always leave these sort of things to the last minute, and then miss the window of opportunity. Its very good to actually not procrastinate on something for once :-)

The other reason I'm glad I did it yesterday is that today I have woken up with a cold. Not a full on cold, but the kind of cold that lingers and annoys you by deciding to have your body sneeze at inopportune moments (like when you are on a packed train). If it was a full on cold then I wouldn't come to work, or even get out of bed, but noooooo, it has to be a halfway sickness that will irritate me for days.

Ho hum. I have to clean my desk today. Random piles of rubbish are getting to big.
