WebService::Advogato 1.00 released

This is a module which implements the XML-RPC interface to the diaries at Advogato a site for developers of free software. You can find it on CPAN.

  • Strange ; my mozilla 1.3/redhat 7.2 displays (apparently) (and mysteriously) correctly the full name of Autrijus Tang [cpan.org] and of Daniel Yacob [cpan.org] (and mine!); but yours, no.

    • It says (using ITRANS encoding): jaladhara ha. vyAsa in Gujarati UTF-8. You probably don't have a font that supports Gujarati glyphs. I actually use Arial Unicode lifted from a windows machine though it doesn't quite display it right either. The Pango library used by GTK2 (and mozilla) does support Devanagari but apparently no one has done Gujarati yet.
