Advanced Calculus and Perl X Python

Please, first of all, I'm not trying to create a discussion on Perl X Python. This is just a note.

Advanced calculus is very cool. Specially when it involves multi-dimensional analysis. This has made me to think about why Python has complex numbers as one of its primary datatypes and Perl doesn't. It would be very cool to work with complex numbers in Perl. Of course, there might be modules implementing that but then I need to have them. On Python they are already there.
