Today I took William to Alpine Funtier, a play place with go-karts, bumper boats, and all that good stuff. I had the wettest arse after the bumper boat ride--being a good Dad, I'd packed spare clothes for himself, but had forgotten to pack some for me. My behind is still damp.

William had a blast, and I did too. After far too bloody long of All Work and No Play, I really enjoyed reconnecting with him again. He's a heap of fun, really sweet-spirited, and loves to shoot the shit out of dinosaurs in video arcade games. We blew quite a few dollars on the Jurassic Park shoot 'em up.

Then off to McDonalds for a happy meal and a lot of play in their play area, while Daddy caught his breath and read the paper. He's napping now, and I'm going to join him. When we wake up, it's off to a movie (I'm thinking that Disney underwater adventure, simply because there's piss all else for little kids on now).
