Post OSCON
I'm in recovery now. OSCON was a week of little sleep (you'll notice my blog entries petered out--once Wednesday kicked in, I had no time to write up what happened to me). Then it was off to a bluegrass festival. I enjoyed spending some time with Bela, but I'm ready for a week off now.
Unfortunately, the bulk of my year's Hard Work is about to happen, with books entering production left, right, and center. So my life will be chaos for another few months.
If I get on top of things, I'll write up my week. If I don't, suffice it to say that it was awesome to meet everyone again. I wish I could have had more time to hang out--just relaxing on the porch bar with booj, obra, et al. on Sunday night was fantastic. Likewise the p5p party, but I was ready to quit and move to Bermuda by then, so it doesn't have the same soft-focus Good Times vibe as Sunday night.
