"The One"
Woohoo! Jenine's mother watched William and Raley this afternoon and we got to see a movie! "The One". We love Jet Li, and Morgan and Wong (directors/writers--you might know them from X-Files, Space Above And Beyond, and Millennium).
The movie was obviously inspired by The Matrix. There's time warping (remember when Keanu slowed time to dodge bullets) and lots of far-out special effects (remember when Black Leather Chick ran around the walls), and a TON of loud noise music. But there's a bit too much talking and not enough fighting, and the fighting there is tends to look a lot like a video game.
That said, I'd rather see The One than almost any other movie out at the moment. I guess that's why we saw it
