well, I thought that I'd be able to get some stuff accomplished over the holidays, but things never work out the way I want. here's my list of stuff I need to do soon:

finish up the perl.com article I promised Simon last month

review the mod_perl chapter of the new Perl Cookbook (sorry gnat)

work on my proposal(s) for OSCon

update and revamp my resume so I can escape this thankless, lifeforce-sucking, dead-end job

tear into remodelling our bedroom, living room, and dining room

spend more time with my neglected family

funny how the first five items make it impossible to do the last, which is by far the most important.
