cable advertising

[ #13297 ]

Most of the advertising on cable seems to be for either debt reduction (how much do you owe? $3000, $5000, $10000!) or for new cars (0% financing, $1000 cash back!). You're either selling things people can't afford or helping them get out of the trouble that buying thing they can't afford causes.

Maybe car companies can sell new cars to people who have debt problems to help reduce their monthly payments. It's an untapped market segment.
