CPAN::Forum with ratings

Finally after more than a month I could work again on CPAN::Forum.

Hopefully eliminated an annoying thing that every user who visited the site got a cookie immediately. It was mostly annoying to me as the robots of Google and other search engines got thousands of cookies and within 6 weeks I had 160,000 entries in the session table. That's gone now.

I also added the ratings from cpanratings along with the stars and half stars.

You can also see who is monitoring the discussions in a module.

  • Ahh, that could be a good thing, a little more focussed than some other venues.

    One comment before I get too deep into it -- The dark gray bars very dark, too dark, making text of half the listings hard to read.

  • For those of us who have a lot of modules, it would be nice to be able to list just those modules by a particular author (such as MSCHWERN) so an author can quickly skim for new discussion about their modules.
