<p>Less thrilling than perhaps a first post could be. Nevertheless, I am alive and well, and now have a web presence on use.perl.org.

More to the point, is First Talk! I gave my first perl talk today, on regular expressions, to a very small gathering of KW-based Perl Mongers. It was received fairly well, but mid way through the talk, I realized that I was probably teaching mostly stuff that everyone there already knew. Here's hoping they got something out of it.

Anyone who's interested in <a href="http://kw.pm.org/talks/1017-regex/">my talk</a>, can find it at <a href="http://kw.pm.org/">kw.pm.org</a>. If anyone reading this was actually AT the talk, feel free to leave me any feedback.</p>elbie2002-10-18T03:35:59+00:00journal
