moved to ecocode
http://use.perl.org/~eco/journal/38803?from=rss
Hello,
I'm widely knwon as "ecocode". As modifying the user id is not supported on use.perl, I decided to move to a new account : http://use.perl.org/~ecocode.
I won't post with the alias 'eco' anymore !eco2009-04-13T11:42:20+00:00journalFinance::Quote module
http://use.perl.org/~eco/journal/38034?from=rss
I took over the maintainers job of Finance::Quote somewhere in September 2008. First job was to solve major bugs which made the module far less usable. Two versions where released since my nomination. Those releases seem to have pushed a new live into the module: The mailing list is active and new submodules are submitted and added to the project.

I'm glad the community has been very reactive to the new releases. Seems that the 'release early, release often' principle is very appreciated.eco2008-12-05T23:25:38+00:00modulesPecha Kucha Brussels

<p>Pecha Kucha was in Brussels on 20th November 2007, containing 10 presentations of 20 slides projected for exactly 20 seconds each. ecocode.net was in charge of this technical part. The job was done using a mac mini and a custom-made slideshow program to obtain the exactly 20 seconds of projection time for each slide.</p><p>The event interested 200+ attendees and was a real succes. Next event is programmed for 20th January 2008.</p>eco2007-11-23T11:30:43+00:00eventsFosdem 2008 Perl Dev room ?

As every year I will be in Barcelona for a little week starting the 14 may. This year the trip will cost 100 EUR per person. Impressive how prices have dropped over years !eco2007-04-29T17:40:29+00:00journalFive Things You Didn't Know About Me

I like them so much I can't accept any (even the most useful) annotation in it. I hate people who mistreat books by folding pages or messing coffee on them by inadvertency. <p>Hi,</p><p>I was in London this weekend. As a mac-addicted, I rushed to Regent Street to visit the Apple Store. Wow ! The design of the glazen stairs is really great. Besides that I experienced the 30" displays of Apple for the first time. Impressive. The Mac Pro (full of Ram) runs like devil with that hudge screen !<br>The return trip was a bit hatchy yesterday night. It was raining a lot and our train was cancelled. Probably due to a lack of passengers ?<br>The return trip from London back to Brussels took us about 6 hours.</p>eco2006-10-23T06:06:09+00:00journalvlaanderen.pm.org
