One of Life's Little Problems, revisited
It finally occurs to me to ask: Is the problem the stapler, or could it be the staples? I've throw away (or just thrown) several staplers over the past few years, but it never before occurred to me that just maybe the problem wasn't with the stapler itself.
A metaphor?
