A day with two wins
Woo hoo. rjray gave a talk on web services to the Silicon Valley Perl Mongers, and I won a copy of his book in a trivia quiz drawing.
The power supply fan noise problem was dealt with earlier today. I did what I should have done in the first place: Send an email to iDot support to complain about the fan noise. They responded quite promptly, offering a painless upgrade to a case with a quiet power supply. A drive across the bay for the exchange, and I now have a quiet little box sitting in the corner, waiting to be configured and tweaked.
Or is it a BUG?"
