Praise for Catalyst 5.5

[ #27613 ]

13:27  * merlyn stares at Catalyst, and now wonders why he ignored it before writing CGI::Prototype
13:27 < merlyn> perhaps justfied as "the catalyst of fall 2004 is not the catalyst of today"
13:30 < merlyn> OK.  so now I'm wondering if I can transition my clients to Catalyst from CGI::Prototype without a huge hassle.

  • The best part of CGI::Prototype is basing it on Class::Prototyped, which has saved my time on many occasions. If I can figure out how to get good callbacks from TT to the controller, and easy migration from "need it on this page" to "need it on all pages", this will look promising.
