YAPC::Europe: talks have been accepted

[ #33522 ]

As you might have noticed already, we have now worked through all the interesting talk submissions and selected the ones you’ll see during YAPC::Europe. This was a hard job, as we got 25% more talks than we have time available (and even now the schedule will be quite packed…)

Here’s our talk-selection-algorithm:

  • Calculate how much time we have available
  • Accept talks from all speaker who submitted one talk only, unless a speaker submitted only rubbish (which didn’t happen). We really wanted as much different speakers as possible, especially newcomers.
  • Go through the talks of all speakers who submitted more than one talk and pick the most interesting. This was very hard…
  • Check if there’s still time left to fill with talks
  • Add more talks until no time is left

You can see the list of talks here:

Tomorrow, speakers will receive an email with more information on what to do next.
