mutt header_cache and a general nice day

[ #29411 ]

At the meeting yesterday, koki not only told me how to get Umlauts working in mutt (LC_CTYPE=de_AT.utf.8 uxterm; mutt), but also that there is a setting called header_cache, which speeds up opening of IMAP folders a lot. Mutt is fast now. yay! koki++

Today was a very relaxed day, mostly spend lying in the sun in Prater (a big park-like green area in Vienna, right next to where we live). It was even more pleasant as we met some friends of our kids there, so they where busy and Barbara and I didn't have to animate them...

Some people think that cities make you lonely, but if you have kids and live for some years in the same area, you can just be sure to meet some random friends anytime in the park (as long as it's sunny..).

Oh, Istanbul was very nice & interesting, thanks for asking..
