I'm also head of Vienna.pm [pm.org], maintainer of the CPANTS [perl.org] project, member of the TPF Grants Commitee [perlfoundation.org] and the YAPC Europe Foundation [yapceurope.org].
I've got stuff on CPAN [cpan.org], held various talks [domm.plix.at] and organised YAPC::Europe 2007 in Vienna [yapceurope.org].
I finally started a journal here (yet another journal writer..)
Currently, I'm listening to Nick Clarks tutorial at YAPC::Europe, which is nice (after they managed the lightning)
My tutorial is comming up next. Luckily, I finished the slides and the example application yesterday (that is, very early today...)
I'm sharing a room with Leo Toetscho (parrot patchmonster), who's also from Austia.
Wireless is working, which is amazing (to me), as I never enjoyed it during conferences due to a crappy laptop. The new one (a Dell) is very nice, battaries are working for hours!
I met a lot of nice Perl people yesterday during early arrival. In fact we arrived way to early, so we helped Paris.pm to stuff stuff in the goodie bags.
I'll now turn my attention back to Nick.
Welcome ! (Score:1)
