Getting old is weird. I don't feel older at 33 than I did at 23, but it's clear my body isn't healing the way it used to and it's easier to injure. I didn't really feel like I was overdoing it, but my body apparently disagrees.
Anyway, I think from now on I'll have to drop any delusions of building serious muscle (bye, bye dreams of abs of steel) and go into maintenance mode, with more aerobics and less weight lifting.
Of course, I think I told myself this before. Must be the steroids.
