Perl 5.8 RC1 and BeOS
I tried installing Perl 5.8 RC1 on my BeOS 5 partition last night. Got the expected errors as well as one, Tie::FileHandle I think, that wasn't mentioned in the README.beos file so I reported it.
I thought about installing BONE, but I seriously doubt that will fix the existing issues. Oh, sure, sockets *might* work, but if sigaction and waitpid are busted, it would still be pointless to try and use it. Sigh...
In better news, it appears that OpenBeos has a working kernel now. Cool.
