PGP Book Reviews requested

[ #3845 ]
Since I'm probably going to use Crypt::OpenPGP in my future project, I figure I should learn PGP in general so I know what the heck I'm talking about before I start bugging Mr. Trott.

I'm looking at two books - PGP: Pretty Good Privacy by ORA and Secure Messaging with PGP and S/Mime by Artech House (?). Now, I *thought* the ORA book would be the way to go, except that it hasn't been updated since 1995 (and neither have a slew of other PGP books). Should that be a concern? As for the Artech book, at over $65 I would like at least one review of it before I invest in it.

All feedback welcome. Thanks in advance.
