New XML kid on the block: E4X
Jack Herrington, aka Mr. Code Generation, has a good article on a new approach to getting at data within an XML file called E4X.
Jack is using Ruby in the examples, but it could just as well be done with Perl or Python or <insert dynamic language here>.
