This summer has been the first real test of the air conditioner at my new condo, since I moved here in late Semptember last year and the weather was never very hot until now.
Guess what? It sucks! As far as I can tell, the damned thing doesn't work at all if it gets past 80 degrees outside, which pretty much defeats the purpose of having air conditioning, eh? Good thing it's under warranty.
Don't you live in Colorado? What do you need AC for... it's a dry heat.

Personally, I preferred the "swamp cooler" when I lived there (just a few years ago... for 20 years...). It was a bit cheaper to run, and added some humidity to the house... which was nice, because I grew up in Florida.

Yeah, I could definitely use a humidifier though, especially in winter.
