I won't bore you with the details, since I know this is supposed to be a place to talk about Perl, but suffice it to say that I had a good time at the conference this year in Austin.
It was also nice because my old college roommate (who is also from my home town) lives in Austin with his wife (now 8 months pregnant) and adopted foster daughter. So, he picked me up in his new BMW convertible (did I mention that he just made partner at his law firm?) and we went to a place called Sullivans which is a swanky steak house.
Afterwards, we tore up the town. I'd tell you more about that, but then I'd have to kill you. And then his wife would kill me.
