SkyOS
Here's another obscure OS, called SkyOS you may not have heard about. I didn't pay too much attention to it because, well, the UI was too damn ugly for me. Yes, I'm shallow.
It looks like version 5 will get a serious UI makeover, and for the better. Plus, it's only $12 (which pretty much just covers shipping and cost of media).
