Solaris - The Movie
Last weekend I rented the sci-fi flick Solaris. It's slow, but definitely thought provoking I think. Sort of a 2001: A Space Odyssey meets Sphere. Anyway, I enjoyed it, even if the critics didn't.

If it weren't for the credits... I would not have known when the movie was over.
You could have compressed the entire movie into about 15 minutes... then you would have the beginning of a good movie.
But, that is just my opinion...

I haven't seen the recent remake [imdb.com] yet, but the original version [imdb.com] is one of my favourite films.
