apple store (was "dumb configuration")
So, I'm looking at the Apple store, checking out the dual G5 system. It looks pretty damn sweet:
- Dual G5's at 2 GHz...mmmm
- 1 GHz frontside bus...whoa
- 512K L2 cache/processor...nice
- 512MB DDR400 128-bit SDRAM expandable to 8 gb - good
- 160GB Serial ATA...cool
- SuperDrive...excellent
- ATI Radeon 9600 Pro w/ 64MB DDR video memory...WHAT THE FUCK?!
Dude, I'm gonna shell out $3000 and you're going to skimp out on the frikkin' *video card*? Hell, no. I hope the boys down at CompUSA are paid on commission so I can negotiate this one up to 128 mb for free. How annoying.
