When it rains it pours
This has been a shitty Memorial Day weekend so far. Yesterday morning I woke up and it felt like someone had punched me in the eye. I waited until today to see if it would get better - it didn't. So I went to the clinic and it turned out to be a Chalazion. That's medical-speak for "there's a fucking pimple inside my eyelid". Hurts a lot and my right eye is slightly swollen.
Then *on the way home from the clinic*, the warning light from my car comes on out of the blue. For a while the gas engine isn't engaging, and I'm running on electric-only (top speed is 37 mph on electric-only, btw). Fortunately, it kicked in later and I was able to get it to the dealership. I won't be getting the car back until Tuesday. Guess I'll ride my bike to work.
