OK, I'm telling you the secret. Since you were born, you get one year older every year (NOTE:. This isn't valid if you've been travelling at very high speeds, please see Einstein's work for an explanation on that cases). Then, it happened the same way it did last year, on the same day. You can check the calendar :-)

It kind of sneaks up on you, doesn't it? One day you're 16, then before you know it, 16 year-olds consider you "old".
