My colo box fell over at 1:29am today. Or rather, it seems to have stopped talking to the outside world. I can use the remote reboot facility to restart it, but it still won't network. I can reboot it into "rescue mode" which allows me to log on and poke around to find out what the problem is, but I can't find any obvious problems.
If it's a crack, then it's not a very successful one as I assume that the cracker won't be able to see the server either, so I'm sure it's just a simple problem that needs to fixed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. The box is running RedHat 7.2.
Might be too obvious... (Score:1)
If so, I'd start looking at the resources they use and how they affect the system.
