I liked a sign that read in small print: "Except for ending slavery, fascism, nazism and communism", and then larger print: "WAR HAS NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING".
I heard that London had anywhere from 500,000 to 1,000,000 people. That's incredible.
Here in Minneapolis the organizers estimate 7,500 to 8,000, which sounds reasonable, though it could have been a little less too. It was still the biggest demo I've ever been to by quite a bit, since most of my activism has been in animal rights, where we consider 50 people a big protest;)

The organisers are saying 1,500,000. Even the police agree on 750,000.
At least twice the size of anything I've been on before. It was amazing.
