OSCON

[ #5424 ]

OSCON is going to be fun. I've got several BoFs to be part of, a lightning talk that hasn't been trashed yet (as far as I know) and a great party to through, provided a third sponsor steps to the plate. If you're interested, let me know.

I think my favorite event will be "Whose Code is it Anyway?" featuring gnat, orwant, damian and bigal.

  • I'm going to YAPC::N::A this year but am still thinkging about OSCON. The big reason is money. It's a near certainty that my company will not pay for it, but I'm a sorely tempted because of the value in it and the fun that I've had there in the past.

    Is it worth it to shell out $3,000 - $4,000? I know I'm probably the only one that can make that decision. It doesn't make it any easier.
