Pushing Hard for the Wrong Thing

[ #14156 ]

We all make mistakes. If we didn't, we wouldn't be human or something. Recently I got bitten by a deprecated feature of Perl that was recently discussed on p5p for removal, or un-deprecation, or something. So I spoke up about it again. Today Hugo gave some rationale as to why it's still there. He's right.

I learning a valuable lesson today, now I'm the wiser instead of the wanker. I've realized it's quite important to turn stupid behavior into valuable learning. I hope I keep it up. :-)
