Stupid Encarta

[ #31933 ]

Q: how many people died in the world trade center attacks?

A: I can only see 3 from where I stand.

Let's try that again:

Q: how many died in the september 11 attack?

A: A lot, wouldn't you say?

Oh, for crying out loud, sounds like I'm talking to Eliza here...

Q: how many people were killed in the terrorist attack to the world trade center?

A: I would really have trouble evaluating that number.

Oh crap... let's try to report this.

Q: how can I contact the Encarta developers?

A: It's not "how?" you should ask. It's "why?"

And suddenly it makes sense, uh?

The funny thing is it keeps telling you "Why don't you ask me something that's actually in Encarta? Type "?" to get a list of questions I can answer."

I type "?" and, among others, this one shows up: "How many calories are there in an orange?"

So let's try that one:

Q: how many calories are there in an orange?

A: I don't think I know orange nutrition facts.

Oh, awesome...

Encarta, you now officially suck!

Who designs these things anyway?
