New rules for more productivity

Starting today, I'm not always on on messengers, IRC and so on. My email gets fetched once an hour only and my RSS reader is closed.

Since I get to work before 8am (for about three months now! whoo-hoo!) I read my email then, read what I want to read and then it's all work.

I'll probably do another round of reading and getting in touch after lunch or so.

Bottom line: if you don't find me online, you know what happened :-)

For the time being, consider this an experiment. I'll keep you posted on how it works ;-)

    Maybe I should consider dropping below the IM radar too (now that my boss is thinking about using IM too).
  • I just started that this week after fighting pnuemonia. Unsubscribe from all lists. Whittled RSS feeds down to 5. Uninstalled IM/IRC. I'm off the grid of mass distraction.
