You can tell you're in a Japanese building by two things:

First: It's full of Japanese :-)

Second: The speed of the elevators! You press the button, door closes, kind of weird sensation on your feet and legs, door opens, third floor!!! And I think the elevator is actually *dropped* on the way down... all they do is a smooth brake... at least, that what it seemed like to me...
