I got a bit annoyed or rather upset with how software I wroteisevaluated regarding Perl, despite how well it performs, and how careful it is written. What can I say? ETOOMUCHFUD. I should probably quit hacking for more hiking.
The picture of Rodney Dangerfield makes it clear that the "bad" of being written in Perl was intended as a joke. I think the author couldn't find anything significant to fill out the slide and that is the point of the joke: it's a subtle compliment.
