Shame
This is a dark day for me.
I should have realized this earlier -- nay, I should have known better altogether! No wonder my code was so jumpy. No wonder little changes caused bizarre error messages I'd never seen before.
I accidentally commented my use strict;.
I'd better not show my face around the monastery for a while. It could get ugly quick.
