Upshot of all this is that we've got a temporary houseguest; a friend of Laura that found himself down on his luck.
I'm not sure we can sublet or anything, and I'm hesitant to attempt it, but it may come down to it. It wouldn't be a terrible idea, either -- it would be kinda nice to not have to worry about where 1/3rd of the rent is coming from.
Anyway, I've been staring at code for three hours now and I've come to the realization that -- in this state -- if I touch something, I'm gonna break it, so I'd be better off leaving everything alone.
I have class later; it's going swimmingly, btw. The last three lectures were an overview of how to use DBI and whatnot, and Mike's going to cover his homemade template system, so that should be moderately interesting. I'm going to fall asleep during today's class, though, I just know it.
I have to go pick up Laura. I feel as though I didn't get anything at all done today. Maybe I'll get lucky at class and sleep-deprivedly muddle something out.
