  • What a load of crap. I *must* keep the OS that came with my computer? Total bullshit. Contrary to what MS would like, they don't own your computer. Never hold up in court.

    Now, *if* you donate a computer with an MS operating system, you've effectively sacrificed your license and can't legally keep a copy around for yourself. Other than that, they are way off base. Of course, who knows with the new XP licensing.
