Paranoia pays off at school; I constantly ask my teachers if I have homework due at the next class, almost every time I see them on campus these days. It never hurts; every once in a while I realize I've been blindsided by a late whatever or other.
My father asked me yesterday what kind of job I could get when I'm done with school (which, upon going through my records, looks remarkably close). I wasn't at a complete loss, but it bothers me that I didn't have a more answers than "the internship program at school" and "jobs.perl.org". He doesn't know what jobs is, and the internship program is only slightly less intelligible to him.
Of course, if all else fails, I could just go back to Subway.
