I went out last night. Normally, for me, that means "I went to Borders!" but this time it actually means "went out" in the colloquial sense, which is to say, drinking, bowling, shooting pool. (I still have a few 9-ball skills left, so it wasn't a total loss. I can't bowl any more, though.)

The upshot of this is that I think I've finally cleared the cobwebs; whatever else can be said about loud music, smoky air, laughing with people you barely know about the person you're getting married to in a few months, and the geometric application of force...they can make one long for the simplicity (and breathability) of coding and IRC.

Today I will most likely work on the Yazbot and the limited-capability placeholder site for my friend/client. Hopefully I can have that done by Monday, but, realistically, I gave an estimate of Wednesday because I don't like being late.

I heard those snickers. I realize I am late a lot. I still don't like it. :\
