Derangement
Why, why, WHY did I have the deranged notion that the best way to handle the Data Organizer and Gatherer (the web-page-finder thingy) would be with a neural net? Was I drunk?
It's very, very clear to me now that it needs to be an expert system rules builder and an expert system rules interpreter coupled with a web-browser and a link storage system.
I suspect the best way to figure out precisely what I need for this is to start working on a personal one, to get the feeling for how to build these rules.
I'll have to set up a little test field; perhaps I'll download that mass of Google archives if it's still up and use that as test data...
