JAPH. (That's right -- I'm not Really Inexperienced any more.)

I'm not just here, I'm here [], and here [] too, I ramble randomly in my philosophical blog [] and my other blog []. Soon I'll come in a convenient six-pack.

Wow, wow, wow.

I had been looking for Jabber support in Trill, but figured it might never happen. I'll need to give this a spin once I get home...

  • How do these stack up relative to gaim []? I use gaim because I'm familiar with it, little other reason.

  • Trillian has Jabber support. But it costs $25, IIRC. Basically, you have to buy Pro, which supports plugins, and there is a Jabber plugin available. Hmm, maybe Basic 3.0 will make Jabber support available to all.

The one thing that rules out Miranda for me is that the Yahoo plugin is not upto scratch. At one point, it didn't work with proxies, it still has quirks, and I have a lot of contacts on Yahoo. Other than that, it's a great client (with an unbelievable set of plugins).

    It's not necessarily better

    • I did see the Jabber support for Pro after I posted. I hadn't been to Cerulean's site in quite a while. Mea culpa.

I guess I have to test Gaim out at home, too, then.

      You are what you think.
