JAPH. (That's right -- I'm not Really Inexperienced any more.)

I'm not just here, I'm here [perlmonks.org], and here [javajunkies.org] too, I ramble randomly in my philosophical blog [blogspot.com] and my other blog [blogspot.com]. Soon I'll come in a convenient six-pack.

As in, hitting.

Something's not quite right with how WWW::Wikipedia is accessing LWP::UserAgent, or there's something wrong with how my system's letting WWW::Wikipedia access LWP::UserAgent. Googled. No hits on the error. Not smart enough to guess this one.

The more I look at Wikipedia, the more I want to add bits of it to my bot (like wikibooks synopses and the like).

The more I work on the bot, though, the more I want to immediately switch to IRC and never look back. F'ing AIM. :(

Since I'm feeling creative and not particularly sleuthy, I'm going to forgo more figuring-out and go straight to code-pounding. I realize figuring-out is more important and rarer than code-pounding. I still don't have enough code-pounding practice, though.

Perhaps my understanding of this as a rationalization will make me slog through figuring out why UA isn't grokking to WWW::WP. I wouldn't count on it, though. Besides, I have Monday to bang my head against that...
