Expert System Headache
More like a PITA, actually -- I just don't quite grok the whole mess yet. Given an evening (very probably tonight's) of footling about with the guts, I'll probably have it cold.
The interface is something I want to understand more, though. "Questions", as they exist in this, could refer to subroutines, so that "answers" can be a little more abstract. All of this is being stored in XML, though -- I can't get too abstract.
Currently, I'm not really thinking of any application except maybe trying to write an IRCbot to engage in casual conversation of some form. Ah well -- I've done dumber things, and with less interesting tools.
