Let's go Dutch

[ #16256 ]

Apparently our internet access comes through a Dutch company or something similar. The search for www.google.com gets translated to www.google.nl.

English language searches still work. Everything else just looks "not-English".

  • That google.com translating to google.nl caused me problems with the WWW::Mechanize test suite. The original test suite would use http://www.google.com/ as the URL to check, but for non-US users, it would redirect to something country-specific.

So I had to redo the test [cpan.org]s.
